the night before, Friday night went to the private event for our Guild at Hog's Breath.
was a pretty good meetup... :)
Hog's Breath (CHIJMES) is great too.
We had it in the Pig's Pen
and presenting.. our Foodddddd :)
I will say its pretty good. Better thaan what I had expected due to some negative comments at HungryGoWhere.
Yummy Forest Mushroooom Soup

this soup, had a very strong mushroomy taste... which i really like it.
i dont like the tooo creamy feel in the usual cream of mushroom.
this is not too creamy. not thick. slightly watery (but i like.. same goes for bf), very mushroomyyyy.
best, i dont feel fulllll from it :D
!!!!!!!! a must try for all mushrooms lovers :D
The main courses.. are like:
Pan Grilled Salmon w Garlic Cream
(my choice! because of the Omega 3 to feed my hungry brain. and surprisingly, the fish is tender, not too dry. yummy sauce which i wished that they can actually give us moreeee.)

Juicy Pork Ribs

The Succulent Prime Steak

A very delicious Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake... and boy i so love their vanilla ice-cream

Their Carrot Cake (which I didnt tryyy)

the other photographs...

Yesterday, which is a Saturday, the day I got my La D De Dior watch,
we went over to Raffles City for the private sale for invited guest and SAF personnel only.
Had lunch at Bishamon (wanted to give it another try despite the disappointment we had in Bugis)
hmmm.
read my expression:

Our Ramen Choices:

and yes.... its still disappointing.
HAI.
can never be like the one we had in Sapporo despite it being a franchise?
sad. noodles not as springy... soup is far from the same tastiness in Sapporo.
HAI.
if only im rich, i think that i will probably use my private jet and fly to Sapporo every weekend just to have my fill of their delicious real authentic ramen...

dinner, went to the place opposite Bugis for some mala steamboat to celebrate KaiWei's bday..

ah what can you expect from a cheap steamboat place?
service is not that goood but no, its nnot horrible.
i cant say about hygience... which i think its bad.
food wise, pretty ok. acceptable. like the steamboat.
the best part i like is the after dinner..... my steam milk pudding!
i tried their chocolate cookie one and i still very much prefer the original one!
they didnt make it into crumbs but instead, its powdered cookies ): not a right combi too... wrong choice of cookies and also, extra calories(but thats beside the point) !!
i will opt for their normal one anytime.
alright..... tonight will be another night of sinfulnesssss......
dinner to celebrate youngest sis belated bday.
