3rd Year

3rd Year Anniversary

not a ~lavish~ affair.. but definitely a memorable one.

our sun-tanning session...
in our very own private deck

and our many other photossss.. :D

opps.

forgot to rotate the photo below..

but am tooooooooooo lazy to change :S
and starring... special star: SCRUMPY!!!

after baking ourselves under the clear hot sky,

we then proceeded for our DINNER...

complimentary cablecar ride from HabourFront - The Jewel Box

(you can actually board from Sentosa station but bf decided to drive and park the car at Vivo just in case we're catching a late night movie..)i was quite giggly as its been such a longggg time since we've sat on a cable car

the last time i sat the SENTOSA cablecar was with my family dear... kinda miss those days though ):

the most recent cablecar ride that ive sat was in HK.. with bf and his mum.

beautiful sunset...

FINALLY

it's our first time there!! D:

feel like a mountain tortoise cos apparently The Jewel Box is pretty popular with couples? ah. in my own understanding....

anyways,

bf said the place looks good..... so i guess we'll probably be back to try out the restaurants :D

or maybe...

since sister's bday is near, i can suggest to have dinner there! provided that it fits to her liking... hmmm.

but i think its definitely a romantic place for couples (:

will put it on my to-do list to try out the restaurants before i leave for aussieeeeee...

:))))))))))

*

of course

there's no no-photo-taking...

so photosssss....

gosh. i slouch. so ugly.
x____x

and wheeeee. its time to feed our rumbling stomach!!!

:D

THE MENU

Smoked Salmon Salad w Mascarpone Cheese

for those of you who didnt know... mascarpone cheese is the 'cheese' for Tiramisu. and in actual fact (reference from cheese.com, from my poly studies), Mascarpone is not cheese at all, but rather the result of a culture being added to the cream skimmed off the milk, used in the production of Parmesan.

i think its a fantastic creation :D

try it on its own... it does taste great too :D

ok back to the food (my stomach is calling for help nowww)

CREAM OF TOMATO

VERY REFRESHING.

in fact, i think the best of my dinner served was the appetiser (salad+soup)

very quickly, we finished the appetiser....
had to sit thru the whole round:

jewel box - harbourfront - sentosa - harbourfront - jewel box

before we get to touch our main course!!!

oh well,

time for moreee photos!!!! and the sight..
oh, anyway for those who have yet to try out Sky Dining,

just an advice.... DO NOT WEAR WARM CLOTHING!!!!

no aircon fitted to the cablecar... and we're actually on the very same old cable car that passengers take from HarbourFront to Sentosa (vice-versa)

they actually inserted a portable table into the car...

but dont worry, it's stable and definitely an experience worth trying :)

*

once we reached the JewelBox station again, we were served with our main course...

MY FISHY FISHY

taste wise, i find it too oriental to my liking.

not that im do not like chinese food!! but i would prefer it to be more westernish for such dinner...

omg. forgot to insert bf's beef!!! shall do it in my next post ok? for those who have blogspot and do always insert photos might understand why am i not adding photos to it

(if you do upload from your com direct...)

let's skip to the dessert!!!
BROWNIESSSSS.

would prefer it to be hot though

but well, the dressing, cream, etc complement to the taste... pretty yummy :)

the snow globe which we didnt buy..

bought the photos though.
1set is actually SGD50!!! no point. its not pretty anyway.

so we just bought the photo for only SGD32.

more viewssssss...

RASA SENTOSA, at night :)

OUR late night enemy - wings!!!!

as bf was romancing w psp and scrumpy the whole night....

he took up too much of his energy that he had to order another won-ton meeeee

x________x

9th March

our actual 3rd Year!!!

breakfast at Silvershell cafe

yummy..

<3>
YES

i ate all of it!!! maybe for some i stole a bite or two.... but was suddenly a pig that morning.

or

have i always been a pig?

oh well.

im sure that everyone of you have ever heard of:

EAT BREAKFAST LIKE A KING
so... i was actually doing things right
:D

some views...

rasa sentosa was sad that we had to leave..............

they poured out tears of reluctance..

hai.

good things have to come to an end, right?

BUT
its a wonderful celebration i should say :)

o after that we went to catch WATCHMEN at Vivo.

a very good movie. i find it too short though (despite it being a 3hours-causing-the-high-tide-in-my-bladder movie)

i still prefer The Dark Knight though..... but for WATCHMEN? it's worth watching!!!!
