Foood.. like AGAIN.

The muffin that just came out fresh from the oven.

The 3 variations:
  • Chocolate chip
  • Blueberries - I think using frozen blueberries sucks. The berries tasted pretty mushy.. and so not berr-vour. I highly recommend using FRESH blueberries.
  • Cheese
I would say the recipe is pretty good. Muffins were very moist. I will need to modify it to make it better. Just email me/leave a comment if you wish to know the recipe!

Yup. Another food post.
I highly suspect that 'GLUTTON' is my middle name.
Joy is eating GOOD food. Not necessary need to be expensive.. just as long as it is worth my calories.

Yesterday Bf was like complaining to me about not knowing what to get for me for Christmas, saying that I've got a v expensive taste. D:
I probably tend to go for a better quality product.. that's all.

Like food.
I do not want to waste my calories on yucky food. Unless it is a treat from people, I will politely accept it.
I really do find almost every food yummy.. especially home-cooked. I appreciate people's effort and somehow it makes the food exceptionally nice. Seriously.
I'm not a fussy eater. Just not a meat-eater because of my own principles.
However, if I'm dining out, I will be slightly more fussy though. But I will still eat them no matter how horrible it is. (Don't talk to me about inedible ones)

Ok. I do love branded good.
But as long as it is pretty and not a faux product, I will be more than happy to own that especially since now I'm a student.
I am already v contented with my current collection of Gucci & Burberry bag, Dior wallet and Dior watch.

I just couldnt help it.

Ok back to FOOOOOD. YAY!

We tried Crust on Sunday night.

  • Cheese calzone (appetizer)
  • Garlic prawn + Meat lover pizza
You know what?
The cheese calzone was splendid! Was really de-li-cioussss. Got me addicted!
It looks ugly and unappetizing.. but it was really damn gooood.

My garlic prawn was alright. Not that flavourful but it's still pretty ok.
Bf loves his meat lover pizza.

Apart from the fact that THEY HAVEN FORGOTTEN TO GIVE US THE PARMESAN CHEESE THAT WE'VE REQUESTED,
Our verdict on Crust?
It's not too bad. but I MUST EMPHASIZE THIS AGAIN THAT THE CHEESE CALZONE WERE WONDERFUL.
It is also not too expensive.. but not as cheap as Sophia's.

It's definitely worth the money tho!

  2. Hi there

I actually got the recipe from http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Mix-in-Muffins-100629 but I thought that I might have to modify it (have not started on my trials yet!) because it is not that sweet. But when it is mixed with the chocolate chips it tasted fine. Very moist but best served hot. (I heated the muffins in the microwave for 10sec the following day)
I used Nestle dark chocolate chips and they hold its shape really well but becareful not to overmix them. Quantity up to your liking because I forgot how much I've added. I think its about 125g? I added them gradually while mixing. I also topped it with more choc chips after spooning out into the muffin tray.
