Money spent: Mt Dandenong - $5 (for car entry), Penguin Parade - $20 (normal viewing)

we set off pretty early (ok not that early. about 9.30am)
wanted to drop by this famous scone place..

but sadly it was too full (had to wait for an hour for a seat?!?!)

brought back many wonderful memories of my family trip to Melb.. oh man. i miss them :(
i remember the seagulls feeding, dolphins, pelicans, penguins, etc.
really love my dad for all the beautiful childhood memory that he gave us.
like what my sister had said in her past journal post, we're not rich (just average) but my dad, he wanted to potray a beautiful childhood for us thus he used his hard-earned money to bring us to many many places.
All over asia (i think we've covered most of Asia), Aussie (like quite a few times), America, ...
such a wonderful dad, right?
and now.. he invested his money on me as well. and sent me abroad for further studies.
it's really not easy.
the expenditures here are very high. very costly.

my mum too. been the lovely wife who always support him.. accompanies him to movies during the weekends, cooking for him (and us!), keeping the house clean, ..
and the lovely mummy too who had no quelms about bring the three troublesome daughter for overseas trips, carrying our belongings when we go on roller coaster rides.

okok. enough of the emo stuff. in short, i love my family. alot.

so sad that such people do exist. :( the penguins are quite tramuatised by our presence and with the flash?
furthermore they are sensitive to sudden light! i mean common, humans too, right? the poor penguins with their puny lil beady eyes... how?

after that, we went for the Penguin Parade..
the penguins are still very cute. too bad no photography is allowed...
they used to be known as Fairy Penguins the last time when my family went over.. but now, they are called - Lil Penguins.
Worth at least a visit if you do drop by Melb!!
