Seriously I do not know what is the purpose of this festival.. and i cant imagine our government approving of this festival. imagine people parading with the model of a dick and worshipping it.Dick Nose for Halloween, any takers?

It's called the Hounen Fertility Festival, apparently a Shinto custom that has persisted. The link below will take you to some articles. I think, if you want a genuine Dick Nose, you have to attend the event, though that does seem a bit tame relative to some of the things that turn up on the internet....
