terminator, twilight, wedding and the sadness within
was a good movie but slightly complex if you dont remember what happened previously.
i only fully understood after explanation by Eugene. would recommend this movie though. the OST was great!!!
attended a wedding function yesterday at Regent Hotel.
bf and i went to the wrong one! we even ate the chips and drank the coke outside (you know some, or rather, most weddings nowadays, before dinner is served, you will mingle around outside the ballroom for cocktail to be served?)
we only realised when bf's dad called to ask where we were. omg. so embarrassing can? i dont think anybody realised, i hope. x.x
am packing bit by bit for Aussie. am quite sad that im leaving :( cant described the sadness inside of me... felt like tearing by the thought of it.
cant imagine if im leaving all alone.
anyway, just started reading Twilight two days ago. the book was fantastic!!!! love it. been reading before i sleep as i am always busy during the day...
but since today's a pretty relaxing day, i shall go back to my book after i settle some stuff.
ta-ta.
sorry if i've missed you out
sorry if i didnt managed to slot all of you in for a last meet-up with me before my departure because my dinner schedule is really packed. furthermore i need to grab all the necessities that i will require in Australia so its really full. need to settle my apartment, etc too.
last week was really packed with my checkups and i also had my operation. results werent out yet so i was really very demoralised too. didnt expect for an op which is part of what made me real busy.
yet my visa is not settled because i changed my passport!! so am rushing for their speedy services.
will want to meet up with those ive missed ok? Love.

i will be fine..
please pray that i will be fine because if i am not, mummy will not let me go australia yet till i am fine as i must undergo several treatments :( and i cant imagine going through all the horrible therapies.
i hope that i do not fall under the teeny weeny percentage of people getting it at such a young age *sigh*
i will be fine..i will be fine..i will be fine..i will be fine..i will be fine..i will be fine..i will be fine..
my nightmare is 50% over..
dad allowed me to go for a double/single bedded one but it is FULLY BOOKED!
bf said maybe because its Mount Alvernia so people who visit a private hospital tend to be richer so its harder to get a better ward.. should have made a reservation :S so people, do take note if you intend to stay in a A class ward in private hospitals!
should have heeded their advice on the phamplet to reserve a room x.x
the services is good too.
the nurses are very nice and helpful. really unlike those government ones! you're really getting what you're paying because bf's experience at Alexandra Hospital (gov, SAF funded) is horrible! he really felt a difference. but its like 3 or 4 times more expensive.
but it was really worth it.
thanks god my parents love me and allow me have my operation in a private hospital because its not totally insurance covered :)
ok my mum actually do not like government hospital because she feels that it is not safe.
which is why i am born at Mount Elizabeth.
and yes. i had local anesthetic.
was awake throughtout my op!!!
they were very good. managed to distract me very well.. and i only felt slight pain when they injected me. i didnt even realised!
my doctor told me she will be washing my operated part... and there will be a slight pain at the surface of my skin,
BUT
it was actually an injection!
i was heavily dabbed with alcohol when they injected me... so im too blur to even realised that the alcohol is meant to numb the spot for injection! and they (doctor & nurses) kept talking to me non-stop..
of course they made me tilt my head aside. i forgot what reason they gave that i didnt even suspect~ only realised it when i felt the tug, push, blablabla.
and thank god im shortsighted so cant see well too. HEE.
so glad i didnt choose to take the General Anesthetic or sleeping pills option.. :) cos i didnt want any needle at my wrist even after op so i would rather take a one shot pain. and my doctor is really good (though freaking expensive)
bf was like shock at the bill when we were doing the 'discharge' procedure. yup. he accompanied me throughout :) daddy lent me the car and i told them & my godma that they do not have to come cos its for a day anyway...
i thought i will cry but i didnt.. but i was definitely very tensed and worried.
the operating theater is pretty comfy. they even had music on.. but it is really veryvery cold! thankfully (i mean, of course) the bed is heated.
the food was pretty good too.
WELL
FINALLY ITS OVER.
tomorrow will be my result. they had sent a sample of it for testing.
i really hope i will be fine... :(

A Story to Live by
There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there forher.
She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.
He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'
The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her lifeled her to refuse to marry him.
Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to hersaying:
'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

leaving aussie very soon and im feeling quite terrible. i mean im very fortunate to have bf with me and all... but the thought of my family in Singapore really made me teared whenever i think about it. ok friends too but not to the extend of tearing. will definitely miss my dearies.
next week i will be going for an operation. today really felt like crying. i mean my eyes did turn red......... oh man. and sorry i dont really wish to say what had happened to me so please dont ask unless you already do sorta know. really sorry. not that i dont like you but am really feeling very uncomfortable in saying it. at least for now. furthermore doctor cant confirm it yet but she assured me that given my age, its a very slim chance.
i am like such a weak girl. hai.
and no i am not going for any abortion or whatever crap.
am grateful for the strength given by those who really loved me. thanks lovelies.

cocktail
Yesterday went back to Alexandra Hospital for bf's teeth. Wisdom teeth. its four tooth so i supposed its teeth? (too lazy to check :S)
Hospital is having sale for Avene!
errr. have yet to try this product except for the sprayspray thing (ok. have checked. its known as the Thermal Spring water) that albert gave to me previously in the office due to my peelingly horrendous skin which I used it to water my birthday flowers :X
ok lah. did use it for my skin too... better than Evian's (duhs)
so this is what i bought (bf too.. he wanted to try something that is not off the shelf like Biore, etc):
bf's. for his pores.
and he also bought this green green bottled gel thing for facial wash. didnt take a photo of it because he was using it when i was snapping the products.
refer to Cleanance Soap-Free Gel if ya interested.
did not use it personally but i will try!
he said its pretty ok. but leaves this film feel on his skin.... so kinda not used to it. but he said its nothing negative.
probably previously others is too drying.
and mine!
have yet to try it. hope its good because its sooo much cheaper than the one that im currently using.
wanted to try out Kose too..
but as I will be a poor student (though im not paying for my facial products.. even previously. WHEEE), i wish to help my parents save too. and this is really cheap! cant remember the price. $30+?
*sniff*
they have been so nice to save up to send me overseas for my further studies.
*
do check it out. i think its a reliable product as previously accompanied my mum to some skin specialist and the hospital is selling these products too!
they are having 20% discount till end of june.
*
oh. and am blessed to have the nice SA who gave me and bf some free samples to try out. didnt want to buy the sunblock yet because i am looking for one thats really good.
that leaves no sticky feel. ****IMPORTANT******
looking at Kose (really fabulous! bf is like wowing over the texture too. opps. think im influencing him to use such brands x.x) or MTM (currently using. very good texture too.)
*
*
I really hate sunblock that gives a thick feeling. like some thick blanket on my face on a hot day.
*
*
anyway, sold my phone away. *sniff*
because will be getting the fully unlocked version.
oh man. i think im too emotional. i feel quite sad to let it go :( its really like my baby.. like what ive mentioned on Hardware Zone)
hai.
but owell. the girl, also seemed to love the phone alot. so im sure she will take care of it :) at least i know my baby is in good hand.
oh ya.. sorry again Cai Wei that im late x.x directed my bf the wrong direction. hahah.
*
*
oh. as i had not buy the data cable yet, had no choice but to snap the photos taken on my hp using my camera.
some random photos!!!
the fishy that me and bf saw on Saturday at Isetan Supermarket.
its HUGEEE.
the photo dont really seemed to do justice though.
*
another photo.
this pasta place near my house. in some food court. not sure if its still known as KOLA. besides Mirana.
personally i find their pasta & pizza nice than pasta mania. bf agrees too. he loves their vongole.
furthermore its cheaper!!! more clams tooo!!!!
(i cant say for their soup though. tasted ok.)
the free soup which they give during lunch time. and randomly during dinner time too.
they actually do have a website. but i cant remember the name of the stall!
*
dad saw it on tv that there's this shop around Geylang East area thats good. but apparently around that area there's two!!!! and the one that we went to is the one facing the road.
never mind. another time we'll try!!
*
another random photo!
Dinner at Peranamakan (err. i definitely got the restaurant wrong. but its this peranakan restaurant at Keppel Club)
BUT I DONT LIKE IT! D:
i dont like it. its quite yucky too me. seemed diluted and artificial.
*
*
hurhur. i love my pink file.
actually i love white better.. but the pink is sweet. :)
and for stationaries, i think a pinkish one is good.
*
